Come Home Daddy: The Fast Life Has an Even Faster Finish
There’s a certain feeling that comes with living life fast.
Everything moves. The music, the money, the nights, the women, the shows, the travel, the decisions. One moment you’re chasing something, and the next moment you look up and realize you’ve already passed something you should’ve stopped for.
That feeling is at the center of my new EP, “Come Home Daddy.”
This project is a conglomerate of old music and new music that somehow all coincide. Different recordings from different moments, but when put together, they tell one story.
A story about what it feels like to live in the fast lane while slowly realizing that the fast lane has an even faster finish.
Come Home Daddy is about the person waiting for you to come home.
The person who wants your time.
The person who misses you.
The person who still believes you’re eventually going to turn around.
But you’re already moving in the opposite direction.
That’s the conflict.
You can love somebody deeply and still be addicted to a lifestyle that keeps pulling you away from them. You can know exactly where you’re supposed to be and still find yourself somewhere completely different.
This EP lives inside that contradiction.
It’s about ambition, love, distance, temptation, consequences, and the realization that sometimes the life you’re chasing can move so fast that you don’t even notice what you’re leaving behind.
The old music represents different versions of me. The new music represents who I’m becoming. Putting them together created something that feels less like a traditional EP and more like a collection of memories, emotions, and moments that were always connected.
Come Home Daddy is for anybody who has ever been caught between the person they love and the life they feel destined to live.
